Founded in 1935, NACo brings county officials together to advocate with a collective voice on national policy, exchange ideas and build new leadership skills, pursue transformational county solutions, enrich the public's understanding of county government and exercise exemplary leadership in public service.
April 2018 ... Celebrate National County Government Month
In honor of April as National County Government Month, the National Association of Counties is proud to present "My County Works", a county government activity book for children.
"My County Works" is the latest addition to a suite of civic education resources produced by NACO and iCivics to help young people learn about county government.
