REOPENING DAY FOR ILLINOIS ... June 11th

6/11/2021

Governor Pritzker announced the full reopening of the state beginning on Friday, June 11, 2021.

The state reached Phase 5, the final phase of the Restore Illinois Plan, after recording the lowest number of hospitalizations and test positivity rates since the beginning of the pandemic.

Currently, 11.9 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered to Illinois residents, which puts the state on track to meet President Biden's goal of 70% of adults receiving at least one dose of the vaccination by the 4th of July.

Beginning June 11th, the state will eliminate all capacity limits on businesses, large-scale events, conventions, amusement parks, and all other venues.  Mask requirements for vaccinated and non-vaccinated individuals continued to align with CDC guidelines.
