On October 19, 2021, the IEPA Office of Energy announced its intent to award funding to public housing authorities, units of local government (municipalities, counties, or townships), or nonprofit organizations for implementation of energy efficiency improvements in single or multi-family residential properties.

Applications for the Low-Income Residential Energy Efficiency Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) will be accepted through January 12, 2022.
