Beginning January 1, 2022, pursuant to Public Act 102-0332, the Illinois Department of Labor is responsible for maintaining a database that allows the public to search certified payrolls submitted by construction contractors on public works projects subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act.
The IDOL database will allow the public to search by contractor name, project name, county in which the work was performed and contracting public body.
Public Act 102-0332 was signed by Governor Pritzker on August 6, 2021.
