DHS Announces State & Local Cybersecurity Grant Program

A first-of-its kind cybersecurity grant program specifically for state and local governments across the country was announced by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security on September 16, 2022.

The State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program (SLCGP), established by Congress through the Infrastructure Investment & Jobs Act of 2021, provides a total of $1 billion in funding over the next four years to help state and local governments address cybersecurity risks and threats to their information systems.
